In cases where the ADHD assessment has been carried out somewhere else and the wish is for to start medical treatment. This service includes an initial 50 minutes session to review and discuss the previous assessment, assess your child and gather all the information that is required for safe prescribing. The private prescriptions for the first 6-8 weeks to initiate the treatment are also included in the fee.
Following the above, should the GP agrees to enter into a Shared Care Agreement, no further prescriptions fees will apply, only the fees for follow up sessions will be be charged. On the other hand, if the GP refuses, please see the costs under "private ADHD treatment".

Pease note that acceptance will be subject to the quality of the initial ADHD assessment and should it be not compliant with national guidelines, a re-assessment may be required.
